Rhyme and Reason
Hello Reader,
This is Sandra (Pettry) Larkins I want thank you for taking out the time to read poetry. I am like many authors,I pour my heart into my writing. My writing goal is to tug at the heart of others just a little.If I give my reader something to think about then I have accomplished my lifetime goal.Writing is a pleasure and a joy that I will always cherish in my life. My inspiration comes from family, friends and the Lord.
I have written articles for newspapers.My column was called Neighbors and Friends.I write things for the public for special or personal occasions in their life.
Nature is a personal love of mine. I find beauty in everything natural.
There is always a positive in a negative.When things happens there is a reason,we just might not understand it at the time.
My parents is MR.and Mrs.Arnold Pettry from Perry, Iowa. I am the oldest of six girls.Born and raised in Perry,Iowa;my family roots are the Long and Pettry families in West Virgina.
I am married,we have four wonderful children that I am so proud of.I am also a grandmother of two,a granddaughter and grandson.Children are the light of the world.We can all learn a lot from children if we open our hearts to listen and watch.There is no greatest gift in the world then family.
