My Christmas Wish Is For God To Take Away

My Christmas Wish Is For God To Take Away
This Christmas I come not to bear a gift
But to take away is my Christmas wish
For it isn't material things that fulfill
It's having Jesus in our heart and being in God's will
This Christmas I pray God to take away
Any doubt or fear of those in dismay
I pray that He'll take away any anger inside
And that all would be in Christ Jesus to abide
I pray He'll take away any unforgiveness
And replace it with His love and righteousness
I pray He'll take away those thoughts of doubt
And fill hearts with knowing to trust in Him is what life's about
I pray that He'll take away any pain that you have
And that you'll know on the cross our healing He gave
I pray that any sorrow will be removed this day
And every tear you cry will be washed away
I pray for families that are seperated or broken
Will be restored by His word that is life when spoken
I pray for those that feel forsaken or all alone
To whisper a prayer to Jesus to live in their heart's home
I pray for your mind to daily be renewed
To line up with God's purpose and will for you
I pray that your carnal mind will pass away
And the glory of God will shine on you today
I pray that anything not of God will cease
As we come to His saving grace on bended knees
I pray that as the New Year approaches and rings in
All bitterness passes away for a New Year to begin
And last but not least I pray for the devil to flee
With all his hindering spirits of guilt and deceit
I pray God's will be done in every life
And with all His taking away the end of strife
Merry Christmas To All and A Happier New Year!
Lovingly In Christ; Pastor Linda Begley
Ephesians 2:1-10
1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course
of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times
past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh
and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us
together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together
in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding
riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus
unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them.
