Home At Last

***************************************
You're free to flee My Presence...
Ignore Me if you must.
But you can never hide from Me
In the places you most trust.

There is no door I can't see through...
No depth, no height, no space!
No matter where you run to, child,
I will always find that place.

You can dive into diversion...
You can detour into doubt.
You can even sin deliberately,
I will always draw you out.

My love was never measured
By the things you say or do.
You can even shake your fist at Me...
I won't turn My back on you.

Should you deny Me with your lips,
I will seek and search your heart.
If there's an ember of love's flame
Love can fan a fire to start.

I realize life's rough on you,
But you are still a-float.
Do not allow the storms you see
To sink and capsize your boat.

Walk toward me on the water
Until all the waves are past.
You'll gain a new perspective
When you make it Home at last.

Lovingly Presented,

~~**Author's Note**~~
I know this is a personal poem
to someone out there. The Lord
will make it known to your heart.

"And do you think this, O man,
you who judge those practicing
such things and doing the same,
that you will escape the judgment
of God?"
Romans 2:3

"He who has clean hands and a
pure heart
Who has not lifted up his soul
to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully:
He shall receive blessing from
the Lord,
And righteousness from the God
of his salvation.
Psalm 24:4-5

"For if our heart condemns us,
God is greater than our heart,
and knows all things."
1John 3:20

"For I am persuaded that neither
death nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities nor powers, nor
things present nor things to come,
nor height nor depth, nor any other
created thing, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
