Worthy Is The Precious Lamb Of God

Worthy Is The Precious Lamb Of God
HappyPassoverPlaqueLrg

It's been over 3000 years since the first " Passover "
God told His people to apply lamb's blood over lintel and post of door
This being a miracle from God that the angel of death would pass over
It had to be an unblemished lamb one year not much older

For hundreds of years in the Jewish community
The unblemished sacrificial lamb was chose by each family
This was for a ritual and sacrifice for their sins
Until the temple was destroyed stopping them

To this day the Feast of Passover is one of God's holidays
To commemorate the Lamb of God sacrificed on Calvary
God's precious Lamb was perfect once and for all
He even symbolizes the unleavened bread without sin at all

BarCupCommunion

Leaven represents false doctrine and sin that multiplies within
Paul writes to purge the leaven for a lump multiplies error and sin
Jesus came as the perfect Lamb and Bread of life
When we partake of communion we commemorate God's sacrifice

BarCupCommunion

The wine is His blood and the bread is His body
Jesus said;"as oft as you do this,do in remembrance of me"
It's considered the meal of life for all believers
Worthy is the Lamb of God for His blood shed now covers

In the feast of Passover/unleavened bread there's a Sedar meal
Everything that is prepared is symbolic to also emotionally feel
Unleavened bread which is matza for 8 days can only be eaten
With lamb and bitter herbs and apple desert honey sweetened

BarCupCommunion

The meal is to be eaten in a lounging type position
As John is portrayed in the Last Supper leaning on Jesus
The Passover and Unleavened bread feast is 8 days
It commemorates also God's people being delivered from Egypt
as the Ten Commandment movie in our time portrays

God's seven holidays(feast) are listed in Leviticus
There are blessings all can receive being one in Jesus
Many Jewish people celebrate yearly each feast given
The Gentiles too can benefit for blessings of keeping them

BarCupCommunion

Lovingly Presented as I recall, however there are many things
not shared in re of the celebration, that would take a book
to hold the contents of the full traditions, but oh so lovely!

John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith,
Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

1 Cor.15:3-7
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the
third day according to the scriptures:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once;
of whom the greater part remain unto this present,
but some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

1 Cor. 5:6-8
6.Your glorying is not good.
Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump,
as ye are unleavened.
For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven,
neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness;
but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Matt.16:6,11,12
6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven
of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to
you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of
the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
12Then understood they how that he bade them not beware
of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees
and of the Sadducees.

Mark 8:15
And he charged them, saying, Take heed,
beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

Revelation 5:12-13
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength,
and honour, and glory, and blessing.
13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth,
and under the earth, and such as are in the sea,
and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour,
and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne,
and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
