Here's the story of 2 lovely ladies,
who always knew how to please.
Let's celebrate the magic they brought,
would truly be a sin to not.
While they were here they lit up the screen so true ,
one with a script and one with a mic.to captivate me and you.
Two more legends taken to heaven,
one was 92 the other only 67.
Lena Horne with such class how she jazzed the day away,
Lynn Redgrave a classic till her dying day.
But both ladies still class acts even when they're taken above,
cause the angels are inspired by what they do best with love.
Lena broke the barriers with black singers so long ago,
while Lynn just went with her flawless acting flow.
Her sister Vanessa and niece Joely Richardson
proudly carry on her legacy,
too many of the old classics gone but not from our memory.
