A DOG TALE

A DOG NAMED DAGWOOD
HEARD THEY WERE GIVING AWAY-
FREE HOT DOGS, DOWN THE ROAD.
IT SOUNDED PRETTY DOG GONE GOOD

SO HE  STARTED OUT DOG LEGGING IT
TO GET SOME FOR HIMSELF
HIS DOG TAGS WERE A JINGLING
AS HE TROTTED ALONG HIS WAY.

ITWAS FARTHER THAN HE THOUGHT
AND HE WAS GETTING SO DOG GONE TIRED
THAT HE DECIDED TO REST AWHILE
HE LAYDOWN IN THE SHADE OF A DOGWOOD TREE

AND DOZED OFF AND DREAMED
HE WAS PULLING A DOG SLED FULL OF HOT DOGS
BY THE TIME HE AWOKE,
THERE WERE NO MORE HOT DOGS LEFT

 THEY WERE ALL GONE!
MORAL OF THE STORY---
DON'T LAY DOWN ON THE  DOG GONE JOB!!
