Sometimes the road ahead in the distance,
is often disguised with untrustworthy footprints.
But in my heart the direction i follow,
is on the path of the straight and narrow.
For i don't speak with a forked tongue
not even now&then,
nor do i write
with a crooked pen.
If you happen to be among that crowd,
to be my friend you're not allowed.
If i could just once pretend to be
something other than me,
i'd wish to be at someone's door as a mat
cause they're used to being walked all over like that.
Nice guys finish last&being up-front doesn't pay,
well that's gotta change i'm here to say.
Never do i have to hide behind,
masks and that of the kind.
If any among you i happen to offend,
maybe some rules you should bend.
Bend them like humans do,
or else the game of life will not reward you.
For you it will be unfamiliar territory,
you'll be challenged beyond belief
but my hat will be off to harry!!!!!!!!!!!!
