I thought about what i'd do?
Who i could go help?
What words i should write to lift another?
What - who and where needs me most?
Then i heard my inner me
silently weeping...help yourself today
be a faithful friend
and listen to the songs of your own soul
hear what your heart is singing....
write for you today
tell your heart what it longs to hear....
read every poem
sing every song
drink from the vine....steal this day for YOU!
Erase from your mind
those you love
entrust them to HIM who loves them most
close the closet for one day..
let your prayers
be about your longings....
Your desires to be ---
- at rest in the middle of chaos
- fear free - because YOUR LOVE is perfected in my heart
- anchored in thoughts knowing that, though the world around me would crumble, i would trust YOU fully
- so entirely LOST in YOUR LOVE that naught would shake me
- bold and beautiful for THEE
- like Jesus reflecting HIM instead of me!
- contented with YOUR daily provisions
- consumed with seeking to know, love and please YOU MORE
- a vessel willing to die for YOU
- empty of self, with my cup over-flowing with my Lords life
- alive "IN CHRIST" and dead to me...FOREVER
