600 blessings©
It's kind of ironic
i surely think,
my 600th poem for me
and it all started with
And God Said(so lovingly).
The one that gave me the power
to write poetry into the late hour,
what a fitting tribute to him
for a poem i wrote on a whim.
That it would take me to heights
to pen so many writes,
when i ask where this all came from
they were out of the blue every one.
Oh yes up yonder in the blue sky
the heavenly master of poetry:
in the sweet by and by,
he spoke to me and his voice did lift
telling me i had a gift.
I'm proud to share it with you
i hope it inspires too,
i'm glad this gift i did accept
i hope i have at least 600 more left.
2 other gifts he gave the kiss of nature
to inspire so sweet and pure,
and the love of my life to share it all with
is further proof that God is not a myth!
