a recipe to die for©
For myself the perfect recipe
wasn't found in any book,
it's the pride my sweetheart gave me
with his own special look.
It was there for example with each meal
or when i wrote a new poem,
he always made me feel
i could do anything as long as i had him.
That recipe i keep in my heart every day
with all the other mem'ries i save,
and when my last breath comes into play
i'll take them with me to the grave.
Nothing can take
away my memories never
and although they make me cry,
one day we'll make more together
when we blend
our loving ingredients in the sky.
