sleeping with the memory©

They say summer's almost here,
but for me it's winter all year.
Cold and lonely i will feel,
till he's with me for real.
Real enough to touch,
to have his warm breath needed so much.
Just to tickle him between each finger,
i'd give anything to see him quiver.
I quiver each time i speak his name,
but from memory it's not the same.
But being the memory keeper,
i'll hold tight to them till hopefully soon....
we can make more together.
