 SECRETS

I have secrets
Words I cannot share
So when you look for my new poetry
The words just won't be there.

By the time these secrets are revealed
I pray
Others will no longer hurt
As they are hurting today.

Yes there are secrets
I intend to unfold
But for now, please understand
That my silence is gold.

By completing this task
What do I hope to gain?
An end to innocents' suffering
From needless pain.

I lost my dear one
But I continue to fight
Because as God is my witness
I know that I'm right.
