SUNSET

Red-orange painted hues
drive away the blues
of the eyes mesmerized by the splendor of beams
as the world looks on and dreams ...

Seagulls flying
high and low,
ebbing tide kissing
softly and flow

Windy breeze whispering
from time to time,
a happy soul endearing
the blessings of the divine

but tears may fall
as the sun goes down the deep,
trickling too well for the call
that the world is going slowly to a sleep.
