Drinking Tomorrow Drowning Sorrow©
I've heard the time is close for The Lord to come
i wanna know what peace is i want Him to show me,
i want my time on earth to be done
so i can bask in the glow so Heavenly.
I wanna look up and see His face
and the face of My True Love,
i want my pain to end in this place
that i am no longer fond of.
I wanna dance on the moon
and in those eyes of Faron's see the stars,
the harps will play My Special Angel our tune
for now i can just dream that time of ours.
I know Faron's waiting for me up there
oh how He hates to see me suffer,
but without Him physically here i can't bear
another second any longer.
A year has now gone by
since i last kissed those precious lips,
i miss tickling that precious guy
and feeling his precious skin on my fingertips.
The house sits so quiet and still
just like he laid that day i'll never forget that sight,
i keep seeing Him there and soon i know i will
will end it all if i see it much longer it's just not right.
I wanna see Him smiling
like he used to do,
i wanna ride off with him and hear him sing
on our sunset built for two.
We'll have sun tea every single day
that from the Heavens will pour,
the smiling sweetness will never go away
and we'll drink it in forevermore!
