to AND from~mother~©

To Mother:
Mother Mother oh so rare,
tell me what it's like up there.
Is heaven perfect like they say,
is all your pain taken away?
Are the angels all dressed in white,
do we on earth vision them right?
Did you tell God i said to keep you near,
does he know you are so dear?
Mother Mother please take care,
keep heaven safe for when i get there.
I'm still here and doing fine,
Mother Mother so proud you're mine!
From Mother:
Daughter Daughter everything you said is true,
and i'm up here watching over you.
I told God what you told me to,
he sends back his love to view.
Don't worry a bit about me,
just be your sweet self-that i need to see!
I have no more pain so rest easy,
God has taken that all so freely.
Daughter Daughter oh so rare,
you're always in our care.
I'm also doing just fine,
Daughter Daughter so proud you're mine!

Queen Of The Pearly Gate©

She's the queen of the pearly gate
and as queen she rules that golden kingdom.
A smile is her umbrella
and a rainbow is her throne.
The other angels flock around her
and fight to win the pleasure
to have her company for their own.
She's there in all her splendor,
wearing silver sandals on her feet:
skipping up and down those golden steps.
Time was she couldn't walk
without help to get there.
But there she was my mother
going up and down those steps
like she was on air.
There was a band of angels chanting:
hail to the queen,
as she was escorted to her throne.
From where she can rein down her love on me:
a love that's mine and mine alone!

Long Live The Queen©

You left us early
new years day 1995.
It began quickly and
was over before
i could arrive.
I stood and watched
your eternal sleep.
The screams and tears let go
for them i could not keep.
But you were at peace
the first in a long while.
When i could
choke back the tears:
i could see you smile.
For you knew
a better place awaits.
Your pain would be gone
inside the pearly gates.
It seemed the whole town
was there to share our grief.
It was nice to have support
and give us some relief.
At graveside we sagged
into chairs of metal cold we beared.
But took comfort in
smelling the earth prepared.
For you would be laid to rest
and taken to your new home.
Your pain would be taken away
and be replaced with a golden crown:
you'd wear upon your throne!
{This poem is dedicated to
my sweet mother on mother's day
and although she's far away:
i know she can read it.
It was hard to see
thru the tears to type
so i hope i got it right}

Heaven Valley PTA©

I want to tell you all a tale
about a Heaven Valley Angel on high:
who has a daughter down on earth
that misses her so with tears she'll cry.
Well her daughter sat at home
no more these halls she'd physically roam........
while the other angels
sitting up in heaven
all envied this mother of an angel so.
With her silver sandals on
and dancing to and fro.
Parents Training Angels
had themselves a day.
It happened just this way:
the day my mother put to shame
The Heaven Valley PTA.

Oh Mother Dear©

Oh Mother Dear:my tears,my tears are calling;
from my heart and all the way inside.
The winter's gone and all the cold is fading,
tis you,tis you are gone and how i've cried.
But come ye back when winter's cold and dreary,
or when the leaves are green as green can be.
Tis i'll be here thru blinding sun or blowing snow,
Oh Mother Dear:Oh Mother Dear....i miss you so!
And if you come when all the cold is fading,
and i have breath still left inside of me:
you'll come and find the place where i am waiting,
and i'll know you're able to live in peace so heavenly.
And i shall feel comfort when you fly o'er me,
and all my worries about you will somehow cease to be.
For you'll smile and let me know you're happy,
then w/missing you i'll have peace till once again with thee!

**M-O-T-H-E-R**©

Mom was here
and then sadly
she was gone.
I learned a lot from her,
so much she taught me.
So much love was there,
in so many things.
And now that she's gone,
i can feel her wings.
She's there in every breeze,
i hear her sweet refrain.
When i am feeling blue,
i hear her call my name.
She's in the air i breathe,
by God's Amazing Grace.
And when i close my eyes,
i feel her warm embrace.
Never take a mother for granted,
for she's as fragile as a butterfly.
And when the time comes:
for her to leave this earth,
she'll still be with you by and by!

{         Mother         }and child©

The tears are still shed now,
even tho we said goodbye.
With her my life was blessed,
but now she's laid to rest.
Oh how i feel so sad,
for more than a mother to me.
A teacher and a best friend
her words still are heard,
as i go thru my life
in the lessons i learn.
She helped make me what i am,
i never will forget her.
And tho she's gone
mem'ries linger on,
how i miss her my mother.
As a child she read me stories,
and kissed away my tears.
But as i grew
she always knew,
how to calm my biggest fears.
I thought she'd never leave me,
and we'd have our time forever.
But she grew weak could hardly speak,
her pain too much to bare.
And suddenly it happened,
she drew her last breath.
The angels came
took her away,
and took away her pain!

'  '  '  '  Blue Velvet Tears '  '  '  ' ©

Her eyes were fashioned like the stars,
her lips like rubies that mother of our's.
In my heart she will always be,
a warm and sweet memory.
When she wore blue she could hypnotize,
for it matched her sparkling eyes.
Now blue velvet makes my heart cry,
for it's soft and warm like her is why.
Now in Heaven a blue velvet carpet lay,
making Her Majesty welcome today.
One day we'll be reunited on high,
and The Lord my tears will dry.
Monday was her birthday february eleven,
and i just know there was a party in Heaven.
She knows Precious Faron has been here all along,
wiping the blue away when i don't feel that strong!

{     11th Heaven     }©

On february eleven
an angel came from Heaven,
and Mom was her name
with kindness she came.
This date i must say
was unique in such a way,
cause God saw it fit to sent down
another angel to bless everyone around.
I'm still in 11th Heaven now
cause Mom made me smile,
her wings flapped over me
and a miracle came to be.
Then she grew tired and weak
an end to suffering she did seek,
every angel God could think of
carried her to Heaven above.
Twas january 1st 1995
tho gone from earth yet still alive,
for i find her here,
still blessing everyone she gets near!
