Stitched With All My Heart(prompt 20)©
Threads get tangled often
when blood runs thru the yarn,
sometimes you can't unravel them
and a pattern is left of harm.
An agreement should be made
to stitch carefully what is woven,
thus the fabric won't be frayed
and no stitches will be broken.
Blood doesn't make you family
and not being close-knit brings discord,
the needle and the damage done can be
left on a shelf visibly stored.
Life doesn't always go
like a tapestry of peace,
but if you get the point just so
it can reflect a family legacy that won't cease!
