(and how)a recipe for success turned disastrous®

I never felt too old
to play with my food the story's told,
but when it came to young at heart:
he broke the mold
compared to him it's useless silver and gold....

Serve up bird's nests to eat
and with many thanks they will tweet,
oh how Faron bragged so sweet
when i did these up so neat.
If you doubt me
wait and see,
about them i'm not out of my tree
i'll show them pictured....
smothered in brown gravy.
If you have such a fun incline
mix in some red cooking wine,
but without it they'll still dine
on a year round treat that is so fine.
You make a well in the meat like a nest
fill it up with people food be best,
onion+cheese and broken up bread i don't jest
great for feeding time cause the hunger'll never rest.
Anybody can make meatloaf that's no fun
i made up a football+mickey mouse how i would stun,
stun the pants off him everytime he would run
to the kitchen to see what i'd done.
There was also porcupine balls,spiders and worms oh my
to not be daring i'd never try,
but i didn't spook My Fun Guy
now all the magic's in the Heavenly Sky.
I always liked to tackle something new
a touchdown was always shared by us two,
oh how i miss the whoopin he would do
i don't score anymore and the playing field is so blue!
(He called me a genius
but it means nothing without....
his smile and his kiss)
