such a voice beyond season®
My Love and i
always had compassion for....
ones down on their luck and didn't pass by,
and tho we couldn't hand out money left and right
we had a kind gesture to brighten their plight.
The best gift you can give someone that's alone
is to make them feel at home,
let them know this earth
has reason for them and they have worth.
The paper you wrap gifts with
use some to show caring is not a myth,
give them fresh out of the oven cookies
and you will bring a smile nice as you please.
I'm now alone and need someone
to shine a little sun,
light on my day
but wouldn't hesitate to send some their way.
Like old friends i talk to people i don't know
and it gives me a bit of a glow,
they too seem to light up and aren't too busy
to share a CHRISTmas any time of year moment with me.
And now to heat up another cold and lonely soul
i send this voice thru them to be full,
of the spirit the brotherhood
to hopefully make their heart feel good.
That not all people just go on
like they're not even there upon,
that cold and lonely sidewalk
for some like me will stop to care and talk!
