Reflecting On Nothing®
I'm held captive in a really dark place
no Hope at all shows on my face,
but Faith hasn't left my heart
i know dreams are out there to take part!
But i was up all night couldn't sleep
had no chance for dreams to creep,
into my heart that i need so
then into more despair i'm forced to go!
I can't help being dark anymore
i have no business being here to give it what for,
i have no more light to shine
the darkness radiates i don't need to wear a sign!
I want so much to inspire+impress
but i'm too much of a mess,
and nobody wants 1 of them around
1 that should instead be in the ground!
The burning misery will fester
The burdening me will pester,
that's my lot on earth
with simply having no worth
with simply having no worth!
(it bears repeating-
the proof is in the mere existing REFLECTING)
