 No More Fishing....In The Dark®
Her daddy took Sally fishing
when she was just a wee tyke,
at dawn's early light she was wishing
to catch more than weeds and the like!
When she grew up she became fond
of trying to reel 1 in and say Holy Mackerel,
there was so much scum in the pond
but she didn't give up and let it take its toll!
Years and years went by
till 1 catch of the day,
hook line and sinker oh my
was biting to stay!
She caught the Fish Of Gold
that others envied so,
and thus a true story is told
about the biggest one she'd never let go!
But the sea took her fish
and darkness set in,
now no strength to splish
splash around with a broken fin!
She'll fish no more
it's too dark out there
she's flopped on the shore,
cause although there's many
fish in the bigger sea
to the 1 she caught no other can compare!
