After a rainy afternoon, i took these photos and later scribbled a poem....

Three flowers the rain has kissed
Soft violet-colored petals I would have missed
When tomorrow comes, one by one each blossom falls
Upon the earth as the windy breeze calls

But I don’t want to think of that yet,
For today I behold three beauties in a set
Refreshed anew beneath the canopy of a silvery sky
Who knows, a friendly butterfly might be passing by

And take notice of them I must say
Before tomorrow comes when they no longer be
The beauties−but just like the old leaves, stepped on and forgotten
Three flowers I love that would have been….
