I'm climbing Jacob's ladder
right now before i get much sadder,
i'll enjoy this tot at play
sand castles in the sky we're a fantasy away!
He'll teach me all about his fortress
i don't like ladders but he'll wish me luck w/a kiss,
with him i'll feel somewhat young again
a happier time way back when!
When i was his age
i knew nothing of pain and rage,
oh to go back to those days
and look forward to a bigger boy that plays!
Plays with me board games and music by the score
sure wish i still had that in store,
in store for me as i travel down the road
instead of loneliness in my empty abode!

Another Knight in shining armor
battled the world for his true lover,
he longs to join her in the castle up high
that knight with me to lonely mourning we'll say goodbye!

and Hope Of Deliverence he will sing,
to be re-u-knighted with his Queen
and we'll all meet 1 day in that magical scene!

{ in that Heavenly Castle there's no more a grieving soul }
