A Tale Of Two Wolves©
There's an old tale of the cherokee,
about two wolves inside us all.
One with an evil bite shows no mercy,
the other with good intentions stands so tall.
They battle it out till the end,
with only one winning the fight.
Do you know which one is the victor my friend,
well it's the one that doesn't bite!!!!

In her land Little Dove she is
but to us Big D and she knows her bizz,
Doris(countrypoet)is a Big Deal
and Her Love Is Real!
Part Cherokee
Our Big D,
Enchantment Land
at our command!
She has such a spirit
goodness on fire that is lit,
by the well learned lesson
that was taught By Heaven!
Be kind to all creature
become a compassion teacher,
and when you cross into unkind
let them have patience to find!
For every living soul
has the capacity of peaceful,
some just need more chance to Love
but it's a given From Above!
I have been thru so much pain myself
but TRY to keep anger on the shelf,
I wanna make proud All Of Heaven
and carry on Inspiration From Precious Faron!
And even tho i'm not any part cherokee
I still follow their territory,
it's better to have The Spirit Of Faith as a friend
than to be bitten by doubt in the end!
So we'll both take that ride
to the other side,
and if we don't do it together
I will feel her peace feather!
For 1 day before too long
we'll be serenaded in song,
by our Lovers in The Great Beyond
with whom We have the greatest bond!

At times there's half wolf and half human
feared by many who cross their path,
many a man and many a woman
meet their shameless wrath.
Havoc they do reek
on those who are not strong,
for to feed upon the weak
is where they hunger all along.
But the wolf in them not inhuman in the least
the wolf is where mercy you will find,
man is where you see the savage beast
with a bite not far behind.
Inhumanity has the kind of face
that doesn't reflect in any mirror,
because when ignorance shows even a trace
an image will not appear.
It's said that man has the ability
to know wrong from right,
well if that's so then how come we
are so ready to pick a fight?
An animal will leave you alone
as long as you don't bother it,
but man sits there laughing on his throne
just waiting to throw a fit!

O' Great Spirit Whose Touch
we feel in the rain,
and whose breath gives
comfort to all that believe
that we'll be cleansed from pain.
Hear Us:we are small and meek
and need your wisdom
to go on when we are weak.
Let us find the beauty in little things,
and make our eyes rejoice in
the ever changing sunset
and the love that nature brings.
Make our hands know the magic
of the world and our
hearts wise to know
the knowledge between right and wrong we seek .
Give us the ability to reason
so that we may honor you with pride to find.
Let us learn the lessons you
have bestowed upon our kind.
We seek strength not to
hate our own brother but
to fight our greatest enemy ourselves
honoring you.
Make us always live with
a peaceful soul
and a clean mind.
So when our life fades as
the fading sunset OUR spirit may
leave this world in kind!
