Oh we had us some good times
what most can never imagine,
it inspired countless rhymes
and i wrote them all From Heaven!
Since we didn't get to celebrate
Easter that year,
i could only dream most great
that He was still here!
He hopped round our trail
and found a ham sweet as you please,
baked it up perfect without fail
and His Potpie brought me to my knees!
I'm starting early
to prepare for the day,
that He's again with me
otherwise here i couldn't stay!
I have to live in dreams
only way i can survive,
cause when awake it's worse than it seems
then i'm not even alive!
From His Eyes i drew such wonder
From His Lips such magic,
From His Arms a spell i was under
From This World Taken the peace i seek!
If anybody ever says i grieve too much
i really don't care,
cause they didn't have His Touch
they don't TRY to exist in my world that i can't bear!
One's heart knows how it will feel
and nobody else can fully understand,
the death inside me is real
and staying asleep i so have planned!
And Yes there is a special code between
2 people that are destined to be together,
you can look right thru me and it's seen
that code can't be broken ever!
