As a Father Stand Your Ground

Stand your ground, when are a Dad.
Raising a Family you endure heaven and hell
Good times and Bad.

The challenges are plenty
with happiness and joy- turmoil and strife many
As a father every single day you do your very best
To treat all your children equal- not any less.

You deal with the arguments and disagreements
The kids go through
As a Father you do not agree with decisions your kids make
And how they act towards one another
As well as the grudges they hold to.

As a Father you stand your ground
Just trying to stay afloat with all the stresses of your family
With weight on your shoulders you have to fight not to drown.

The greatest pain as a Dad that I have faced
Is when there is hate and discontent between your kids
I know it is out of place.

It hurts great when your own kids do not get along
As a father it does not fit and feels so, so wrong

As a father most important is for all in the family to stand together
To be close, and supportive in all weather.

As a father you wish all your kids the Best
You want them to love, honor eachother more not less.

As a father you want your kids to always get along
To stand together forever strong.

As a father until your final breath here on earth you stand your ground
And know in your heart that no matter what, no matter who, no matter where
The TRUTH will always be found.
