If you ever met a stern-faced man
On black sweaters with collars
Pulled to the neck, up north,
He was a Russian.

Watch that man!
For in the noon, he triumphs,
Even in the matter of the moon.

Yuri Gagarin the man
For men who stout the heart
And champion with acts
Watch that man! For his only code
Is to work hard
And go round and survey
And come to tell me a man that survived
That was not a Russian.
