It's Gone
I promised myself I wouldn't cry
but how could I not?
I loved you so much.
The tears on my cheeks are now dry.
I didn't want to give up,
I tried to make it work out for us.
It hurts to remember all the things you said,
all the love you supposedly felt for me.
The sound of your voice echoes in my head,
thoughts of you at night didn't let me sleep.
What's the reason, why was I pushed away?
You said we were in a relationship,
but all you did was ignore me for days.
Didn't those actions mean you wanted us to end?
Now I'm trying my best to move on,
but it's harder then it seems.
My heart hurts now that your love is gone. All I have are these bitter sweet memories.
Why wasn't I enough for you to stay?
Was it the distance between us to blame?
Or was this complicated relationship always destined to fail and end?
