Water under the bridge
can leave you feeling, very cold and troubled as the fridge
Many events in your life
things that you dealt with, that affected you profoundly , for the rest of your days , that cut you, hurtful, and bluntly, sharp as a knife
Somethings, you can just--never forget
holding onto hurtful memories, are your regret
Newfound, happy memories--, you seek to find
but the heart will Not let go of, the times, you were treated so unfair, ruthless, hard and unkind
Alot of time has passed and water has passed under the bridge, and gone down the stream
but still, so many things stay on your heart and mind, as a bad, terrible dream
Prayer, and grace , understanding and, hope
is that you learn to better healthfully cope
What we feel is real
trust in god, through prayer, only he can help you heal
No one else, can ever understand
right here, right now, what you feel where you stand
But rest assured, that your god does surely know
how you deeply feel, every day, every which way, when your high and low
