Im just pausing to simply pray
as im sitting here writing this little poem today
Im, thinking of times, that have come and gone in my life
am, thinking of the times, of dissappointment, hurt, turmoil, and strife
Am thinking, alot about my-failed, marriage, and now ex-wife
am, doing the best that i can, to get along, with my life
My children, and grand children, i do my best to mentor, and stay close
they all are my life, living-and- love, that i will forever treasure the most
So with my mission, in my heart, and mind
peace within me, everyday, im doing, my-very best to find
Progress i have had some
but this mission, as my health is my wealth, is far from being done
I can now, walk, but am far away, from moving fast on the run
this mission, is on my heart, and my mind, from sun up, to the setting sun
The mission, that is on hand, is my health, fitness, and well-being
so let my momentum, continue, and let my will, be strong, and-great progress, soon, i know, that i will, be seeing

When we humbly, pray
GOD, listens to us in each and every way
When we pray and pause
GOD, knows our every thought, concern, and worry, and the every-cause
