We all want and seek happiness
Even an elderly seeks --LOVE--human, touch and companionship,, to feel, happiest at their best
Giving my old folks a hug in the nursing homes where i worked for twenty years
Im remembering how i --LOVED,--LOVED--LOVED-- my folks so DEAR
Some elderly sitting in a wheel chair so lonely and all alone
With no family around to visit or known
They were so lonely lost and atone
And they were so happy , so happy when any affection that to them was shown
I would sing to the old folks -when it was dinner time
And they looked at me so --LOVINGLY-- and made me feel like a super star with shine
All, the folks that i cared for
They all have a very special place right here in my heart for sure
Working in a nursing home, giving folks total care
Was the hardest job that i ever had ever , even of being a --MARINE, --for twenty years in --COMPARE
I will always remember the--LOVING--LOVING--LOVING-- hugs that i recieved
And how the old folks--LOVED--,LOVED--LOVED-- me, and in me believed
Oh dear GOD, i love this--DEAR--BOY--miss price she would say
As she, would hold both of my cheeks, in her hands when i cared for her everyday
The miss kailas family, her son the banker and her son the doctor
When they all-came to visit, they were a big greek family, they would have to come, find me, because, i was the only one, who could make their mom laugh, and laugh and laugh, and cheer her
I would tell the son the big LA--banker and the other son the NewJersey--doctor, that im only a CNA
And they would say only a CNA, but our mother --LOVES-- you , john, and only you can make her eat laugh and happy everyday
As a CNA, a nursing assistant, then latter an LVN, nurse
I did my best to take care of my every patient, and i --LOVED--LOVED--LOVED--them each and everyone, as my own grand parents first
Nursing is in my blood, as my mom she was a caregiver and then an LPN, giving such--great--LOVE--and --care --to --the --elderly
My--mom- she told, me, when you are behind closed, doors only --GOD,-- will know all of your--tender-- LOVING--care and compassion and hard work that you --so--LOVINGLY-- give for sure, and see
My--dear--Mom she said, you may be the last person an elderly patient --may --see
My--dear--Moms--LOVING--, heart for the rest of my lfe, living, and--LOVE-- will always impress me
No matter how, old we are a toddler teen, adult or--centurion
We all, seek to find --LOVE-- and happiness with human --LOVING-- touch where we stand
No matter how old that we get we all seek --LOVE --care compassion and happiness
A simple, kind caring word, a simple ,kind caring compassionate hug, will --help--make a person feel, so LOVED, and happy, and feeling their very BEST
