The Lesson
What a life I have lived
I'm so young yet all the things I did,
made me grow up faster than the rest.
I have been through so much
but life itself is a test.
I have learned now how to trust.
You must go through life's pain
to understand how it feels.
You must lose before you can win
because in life the struggle is real.
What a way to live without worries
just take and not give,
but it's not the right way to go.
We all must suffer
It's hard not easy to live,
but we must be strong to grow.
If we are scared to make a change
our hearts will always be weak,
and only ourselves to blame.
It's a lesson we learn in life
It's not always dark
In the end, there will be light.

One day I'll learn how to love
from now on I'll try my best.
Life is a lesson I won't forget.
