The ---JOYS---, of Growing up, for a small, town, Minnesota ---BOY
It was a Big Deal, to go Down-Town,, to the Woolworth five cent and dime store, and get-- a --ten cent -Dinosaur-- TOY
Then,our ---THRILL---, in town, that we So --THRILLINGLY-- FOUND
Was going to the --Grants Department, -store-- where the only Elevater was in our small Town, and me and my brother went up all three stories up and Down up and Down, and it was the most--- EXCITEMENT--/ for a small town ---BOY---ever found --DOWN--TOWN
But the biggest ---JOY---ever was for -US
When we went to the--- ice-cream -parlor --for our --Birthday --and had a ---Huge-Banana -Split-----triple treat ice cream -treat,--- it was so huge a ---KID---could hardly eat all of it--but we always finished it----and--we--had--our--favorite--Soda-pop--a--root-bear--or--Orange--CRUSH
When we went to the new department store the --Tempo--MALL
We saw so, many varieties of things and toys and toys--galore--and--we--wished-that--we--could--have--them--ALL
The ---JOYS---, of growing up IN, a Small--Little--Minnesota--TOWN
For a ---BOY---way back then, and now as a Man,--I'm--Remembering--were--the--GREATEST-- times-- of --my --------life living and LOVE, --------way back then, that ever since I--have--ever--again--so------HAPPILY----and----EXCITINGLY-----THRILLINGLY---and-------JOYOUSLY-------ever--ever---ever----FOUND
