WHAT DO YOU THINK OF GOODNESS?

Some think goodness lives in the moon,
Some think it's on the farthest route;
Don't bother to think on again,
For it is in the hearts of men.

To set a candle in the blues,
And heat daily the fiery ball,
Or keep the water in a store;
Goodness was created on that morn.

The branches sing melodious tunes,
The leaves stagger to tell the truth,
Too, awesome is the days of youth;
Goodness resides within us men!

He came; He the Blessed one came,
To tar the wilds of earth with light
And lift the tune that brings again
The hearts of men from where they've strayed.

Teach then the robins how they sing?
Tell out to rabbits there is meal?
And much upon the garden route?
Blest goodness gives the nicest tune.
