The MINNESOTA WILD Summer Rains

When these MINNESOTA
WILD--Rains
Come
DASHING
   And
CRASHING
D-O-W-N

Not a BIRD
Sound or SONG,
Or even one Little--tweeting
MOVEMENT
In these
WOODLANDS, is even
FOUND

All  of the
Forrest CRITTERS
Are
HOME---SAFE---HOME

And will not be  coming  OUT and  ABOUT
Until these, RAINY
Storms, GO---AWAY
And--the--SUN--COMES--OUT
W-A-R-M-L-Y
And-WELCOMINGLY
SHOWN

But Now as I
Write

Seems this DAY
With--Continuing-Down-Pouring--RAINs
Has--NO--END
In
SIGHT

As these MINNESOTA
RAINS, today
Keep a Coming down
HARDER
And
H---A---R---D---E---R

And each and Every
FORREST---CRITTER
Is
COZILY
Sleeeeeeeping
IN
And, HAPPILY-Happily-HAPPILY
HOME--SWEET
HOME --Resting--for
S-U-R-E
