Tales of Yore

Dance to the flame, cold winds have no shame.
Warm by the crackling fire, flickering hour after hour.
We can sing in harmony in the gusting storm by the flames
We will stay warm.
The melody whispers cheer when sunlight disappears.
Sway to the rain and hail, when storms begin to wail.
Clouds will spin in the sky so dim, watching dust whirl in nature's tailspin.
Around the fireplace tales of ancient times take place.
I love to the wonder upon each child's face.
A cozy hold will bring the tale alive while lightning and thunder let out a cry.
When the day ends and night returns, we will stoke the fire to full-burn.,
We save the tales of yore when flames must dance once more.
