When Earth is Still
Suddenly the earth came to a stop.
The mountains fell and rainbows dropped.
The winds cried out to earth's stillness and asked her why
She no longer spins, and the Ancient tears of Mother Earth
Feel like rain spun in the winds of golden worth.
She said she can't move on when the hands of respect for her is gone.
Weep not, Dear Mother Earth, your family will bless you in loving mirth.
She started with her timeless spin and holds her children with a peaceful grin.
The warmth of nature continues to dwell within.
