The Thoughts, Feelings, The Life Of Sweetness

I'm a Player

Here I am for the last time
I don't care if you beg me anymore.
You're messing with my mind,
so I'm walking out the door.
I'm leaving you for good.
Am I being understood?

I'm not going back to you,
I'm not giving you a chance.
I don't think I'm being cruel
I'm just paying you back at last.
You thought you could play me,
and toy around with my heart.
But two can play that game,
watch as I make you fall apart.

Here I am with someone else
but I can have you if I want.
And there you are all by yourself
without no one to love.
So what are you going to do?
Because I can be a player too.

You want to play with fire
well then let's get it on.
I'll be rising higher
because I know I'm strong.
I'm older so I'm much wiser
I know what roles to play.
I'll be sure to use every trick I have
I'll beat you at your own game.
I bet I could teach you a thing or two,
believe me I can be a player too.
