COMFORT AND MUSE

Comfort and muse will lead today
Appetite song are all the quest
Baptize me in its brightness great
Conquered the way! Conquered the day!

I would not tread and leave the way
Because my thought are incomplete
The Soloiloqist's song's a mourn
And that is what I never want.

A man that loves himself alone?
A man that wants himself alone?
A man that speaks to self alone.
This is a sickness! God forbid!

Barrels of joy surround my being
O'erflowing love now hedge me in
The precious flowers I must touch
I'll be a friend to glory hours

Withstood by men? I care not dear
Withstood by time? I'll know none then.
Withstood by money? That I'd say
Is not a circumstance to me.

I need to feed, to wear
I need to school, I need to trade
I need a house, I need machines
But these cannot but trouble me

Call in the duet of harmony
That wail and cry and sob and sigh
They that summon to God their “whys”
And tell them that His love is high.
