Childlike

Totally dependent on
Can't do a thing without
Won't make it on my own
Every thought must be about
Jesus
I look to Him at sunrise
I fix my gaze at sunset
All day afternoon skies
Verify I don't forget
Jesus
A grown man acting like a child
The only way to make it in
Grown and sexy, acting wild
Won't get eternity with Him
Jesus
Even with your grown hands
Even with your grown feet
Even with your grown plans
Even grow ups need to meet
Jesus
Until you become as these little ones
You will never see the Kingdom
Until then life has not begun
He alone holds your freedom
Jesus
It's not about your human rights
It's not about what you can do
It's all about giving your life
Committing all you are to
Jesus
Like a child, I have no better sense
Then to follow with loving trust
Before our birth, and ever since
He is the way for all of us
