COLOR BLIND
My dear friend
When I look at you
I don't see a Christian, Muslim
Or a Jew.
What do I see
When I look at your face?
A fellow member
Of our human race.
What color are you?
Black, brown, yellow, or white?
I can't tell
Because God's light is so bright.
I can't tell if you're a genius
Or not very smart,
But I can see right into
Your loving heart.
God asks so little of me
From his Heaven above,
He asks me only
To share His love.
