TO THE EXTENT TO WHICH THE DEVIL IS A THIEF
The world is aptly and best defined as a farm and not a market. This clearly explains the sowing and reaping principle. The idea of the world being a market, majorly upheld by certain peoples and witches and wizards around the world is deceptive. It is based on the false premise that cheating can go on freely in a market rather than in a farm. In the farming system, you don't cheat nature or time but only reap what you sow. But the swindlers and hypocrites who project and accept the market place pattern think, a tumultuous and careless lifestyle, which they feel are characteristic of a market place can afford them the opportunity to steal and go unpunished, forgetting that no one, including spirits, ever leaves humanity without being questioned on what they did in this large farm called the earth. Our LORD Jesus never referred to the world as a market. He always called it a "farm" which is the best and suitable typology. He did however call it a market once:
"And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I like the men of this generation? and to what are they like?
They are like unto children sitting in the market place, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept." (Luke 7: 31, 32).
It is clear then He was referring to a lousy generation, whose unresponsiveness to His pleas were just baffling.
I attended a Bible College some years ago at Port Harcourt, Nigeria. In this College, I knew a lecturer whom the ministry saddled with one responsibility which is very rare today, which was to pray down the Holy Spirit from Heaven for people to be baptized with. This man usually said something like this every time: "the world and Port Harcourt city, Nigeria, is a place of buying and selling." I knew what he meant. Sometimes, I wept about it. Sometimes, I kept quiet. And like they'd always do, they kicked him out of that Bible College when they got fed up of him. Only God knows where he is now. But he had clearly conveyed his message that the world was a place of "spiritual buying and selling." It is this "spiritual buying and selling" I seek to address here. It is rather best termed "Spiritual Trading" or "Virtue Stealing".
As a boy of eleven in my Junior Secondary School in Africa, we had a Class Representative named John Afangideh (real name) who walked into class one day and suddenly became insane with a newspaper clipping in 1992. The clipping simply read that air was about to get finished in the world [just like "one day blackout in New York", or "water finish in Detroit", or even the much anticipated "Climate Change" or "Fire burns Rhode islands", which is Putin's dream, and which should be achieved by the Russian army/ Scientists sending rays into the sun]. No one could control the boy's insanity which led to his being bungled to a Nervous Hospital. Certain
of my colleagues who knew him said he did truly recover afterwards, but vowed he would never go to school again, but rather take to selling shoes in a wheelbarrow since the world's air would soon get finished! Was he right or wrong?
You might discover that the next natural thing to have happened after the Corona Pandemic would have been terrible famines the world over, since someone claims he has "pushed away the [HOLY SPIRIT] from the world, so everybody (himself included) would die"!
This statement is not a tale:
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy..." (John 10: 10).
Now, the thief wants to steal the world's oxygen. Shockingly, most other things have already been stolen. Their virtues or spiritual bodies are not there.
You don't need to lie on cozy beds; they won't give you the needed rest because their spiritual bodies or virtues which make them function well are not there . They have rather been replaced with stones, broken glasses and broken bottles. You don't need BP drugs, they are heavy stones that rather cause high BP. Miscarriages are stolen pregnancies, nervous disorders are stolen or destroyed brains, blindness is stolen eyes, accidents are stolen safety, failure is stolen success, disappointment is stolen appointment, sickness is stolen health, etc. Money is now lose ink rolling on poorly made paper. You shouldn't subscribe to Digital Television; it is not there! Don't trust in a house; it can become rubbles. Because it is needless entertaining people before they die. Churches are not there! Christ had said there would come a time He wouldn't be found in any. Infact, I even advocate the temporary closure of churches in Africa, which are the centres of all imaginable wickedness, and the approval of "two or three" people meeting to pray at homes till safe times return. 69% of everything in the world, including the souls of men, have been stolen by the thief, pending when they should become complete physical rubbles. Most people would say I am a prophet of doom. That's alright. All God's prophets from Noah were, because they always cautioned of negative future times which always occurred based on prevalent human behaviors. Noah cautioned about the flood. Jeremiah about the Babylonian captivity. Christ of hellfire and John (the Revelator) of the end of the world. It is those sugar coated, sweet tongued preachers who drag people in droves to hell that are the real prophets of doom. It is pointless having "the Mariners row so hard to shore." Like wise parents would advice their kids to wash their hands before eating, we have to examine ourselves, cleanse our ways and just call on our God! I have said before that most Chinese and Russians are not bad people, but are under the influence of, and want to drown and implicate others in the punishment which should be meted on them alone for walking with the deceptive spirits of Gog and Magog who intend to drag people in droves to hell convincing them that they can win a war by multitudes.
