No Doubt
How can you live with yourself,
knowing you did me wrong?
Do you blame me or that someone else
for throwing away what we had?
I now know the truth
you always wanted out.
I had the proof,
of that I had no doubt.
Did you see me as a joke?
Did you laugh, when my heart broke?
All those times I felt ignored
like I was kicked to the curb.
I never meant a damn thing to you
I know now how it feels to be used.
You probably never thought of me.
Why would you, if you wanted out?
My guess is I'll just be a distant memory
of that I have no doubt.
