She's supposed to be getting better
Not worse.
When the toxic people leave you're supposed to get better.
You're supposed to feel better.
She's supposed to be getting better.
She wasn't supposed to feel like trash I was.
This was never meant punish her.
It was my punishment.
For not taking care of her and our family like I should've.
Not protecting them and respecting what we had built.
What we had overcome.
