One Day Past Is History…
Life is never easy…
No-one said it was so,
Things happen, good and bad,
But you have to let the bad go!
Every morning when we awake,
It's the start of the future bright,
And every day that fades away is history…
Vanishes In the darkness of the night!
For every day that arrives,
Is the present and the future to be,
They fade away into the past,
Exactly how it should be!
But to live in the past is wrong,
And its usually painful and bad,
And all we glean from regressing back…
Is a hurting and a pain so sad…
For in truth when we think back,
We don't usually remember the good,
But the bad always rears its nasty head,
So we need to let it go, as we should!
Everyday past is our history,
Everyday past is dead and gone,
Everyday past is a day used up,
Everyday past is over and done!
Look to your future bright,
And make it as good as it can be,
And then, when you look back…
You'll find the happiness in your history…
