This poem is written for my son Joey,
Everyones' life is brighter if they know him.
He is a comedian in his own rite,
Whenever he's around he turns darkness into light.
If ever I'm down and sad,
He always manages to make me laugh.
He does his impression of a simple minded man,
That played in the movie "Sling Blade"...
He has the biscuit scene down pat.
I wrote a poem for my son, Shawn;
Joey felt deprived, I guess since he was older,
So...he made up his own lil' phrase;
"Shawn may be your rock, but I am your boulder"
I love my sons'and they are all so unique...
It is just Joey is my comedian,
If you ever met him...
then you'd see what I mean.
