CHAMELEONI subjugate, morph and mutate, into your perception of me. I have many faces, secret places, where the changes occur rapidly. No one can see, the real me, I'm superseded by other's needs. I enter your mode, go down your road, with empathy I then proceed. My persona changes and rearranges, like quick silver I run the gamut. Feel your emotions, swim your oceans, of lost love and avenues shut. I'm lost somewhere, my soul bare, an ever changing chameleon. I need to search for deeper truths find my own dream to dream upon. If I could negate and change fate, and find that long, lost me. Then I would know, where to go, when I needed empathy Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
