Dust and Dreams-A Journey

Full Moon (Nature)

The object of a thousand scary dreams,
She hovers like a simple diamond,
Beautiful, dangerous,
Against the backdrop of a silvery sky.
She is suspended in space,
Simply staring upon the world in oblivion,
Across the mirror of a lively city,
Skyline delightedly sparkling,
Reflecting her brilliance.
She is waiting,
Contented as a napping cat,
She is waiting,
Watchful as a vampire,
For the first light of dawn,
To drive her to fitful sleep.
