My Little Friend and i©
US LITTLE ONES-GOTTA STICK TOGETHER
Don't miss the chance to gaze:
at a hummingbird in flight,
his wings are so tiny but he
flutters with all his might!
He goes so fast can hardly see the little one
but, what a sight to behold:
as he flies till day is done.
He's in one spot and then another,
i just saw him there-where'd he go:
i never cease to wonder!
His colors are magnificent,so awesome&bright.
Why i'd love to try and catch him
and have him spend the night.
His music is so soothing
as he hums across the sky,
i can't believe such entertainment comes
from such a wee tyke of a guy.
He's a true friend to Mother Earth
and all of us mankind.
He's there to treasure,he's one rare find!
