Heart Of The Matter

Who's Pinched My Umbrella?

Who's pinched my umbrella,
Just when I need it most,
I hear you cry, “it wasn't me”,
It must have been a ghost.

I knew just where I left it,
And now it isn't there,
I'm pretty sure I saw it,
Standing proudly on the stair.

And when the rain came pouring down,
In rivers from the sky,
My trusty new umbrella,
Was sure to keep me dry.

So who's pinched my umbrella,
It's one of you, I bet,
Can I ask you all to stand in line,
So I can see just who is wet.
