A Synthetic Soul

Silent Screams

Through these torn vocal cords I cry this silent cry.
I shout with all my soul, out comes a silent sigh.
I strain to breathe this silent breath.
I strain to fight this silent death.

I grab my throat and fall to my knees.
I scream with all my life, someone here my silent plea.
As my life runs from my veins.
No one sees me, or hears my pain.

As I breathe my very last breath.
My life is surrendered to this silent death.
